Day One ... so far

Blessings - Day One

1) Although the flight information led us to believe we would have to buy everything we wanted on the plane, we did get free beverages, a free meal, free movies and a muffin and juice. 

2) We saw the sunrise over Ireland.

3) The Dublin connections gates were REALLY FAR from the arrival gate. We got lots of exercize after our long overnight flight

4) We are here a day early, so we will be better rested for our Edinburgh tour-on-our-own day.

5) There’s a lot less talk here about the American Political Situation.

6) Edinburgh is an amazingly beautiful city. 

7) It isn’t raining right now.

8) The view from our hotel room is spectacular!

You can’t make a silk purse out of EVERY sow's ear: I have a cold and the tissues here are really abrasive.

9) I’ve had a shower and I feel a LOT more comfortable.

10) It’s only 3:30 PM local time! Time to hop on a bus tour!
